Does The CM Test Solution Matter?
Yes . . . it's critcal!
Because the CM Series is extremely sensitive, the quality of the materials used to prepare the test and calibration solutions can have a significant effect on the result.
The recommended materials are AnalaR/reagent-grade materials, including:
- Deionised water
- Propan-2-ol (IPA)
- Sodium
- Chloride
The same principle applies to calibration solutions. Using materials of different purity or unknown specification can introduce additional variables into the measurement.
